Why Check the Tides?

The boat launch behind our shop is situated in the river, near the estuary. Our area is dramatically affected by the tides. Once you leave the shop, if you plan on going to the ocean you have to ensure the tides are high enough or you will be walking, not paddling! Higher than 2.6m is best for your paddle. When you rent with us, we will show you which areas always have enough water to travel.
