Paddle across the scenic waters of Baynes Sound on a guided sea kayak journey from Courtenay to Denman Island. This coastal crossing offers a rewarding mix of open-water paddling and sheltered shoreline with sweeping views of Vancouver Island, Denman Island, and the surrounding Coast Mountains.

Along the way, keep an eye out for seals, bald eagles, and other marine life that frequent these nutrient-rich waters. This tour is ideal for paddlers who can paddle consistently for 30-40 minutes and are ready for a memorable coastal adventure that combines skill-building, exploration, and the unique beauty of the Comox Valley’s island waterways. Please bring a lunch and boat snacks for yourself. If a weather based cancellation is necessary we will look at paddling closer to Courtenay. Tours are offered on request. Booking at least one week ahead is recommended, though last-minute requests may be accommodated when possible.
